Monash University Jubilee Honours Scholarship
The Monash University Jubilee Honours Scholarship was introduced to acknowledge the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Monash University and to encourage high-achieving undergraduate students to continue into research programs.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be:
an Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
an International student, and
intending to enrol as a full-time student in an honours program at a Monash campus in Australia in 2008.
Selection criteria
These honours scholarships will be available to students who have completed their undergraduate degree at Monash University or another university. Scholarships will be awarded to the highest achieving students who receive a minimum of high distinction (80%) grade average in previous tertiary studies.
A number of scholarships will also be made available for students who, in addition to meeting the criteria stated above, identify with one or more of Monash University's defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

$5,000 per 48 credit points of study for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree.

Recipients of this scholarship must maintain full time enrolment and a minimum of a distinction grade average (70%).
Deferability
This scholarship cannot be deferred.
